As you and I look at the complexity of our universe, our earth and the huge variety of living life forms (e.g., animals, humans, etc.), we are caught up in astonishment. We are in awe of the great intricacy of our planet called Earth. The evolutionist demands we reject our God and accept their theory that all living things just happened. For Christians who continue to be believers in the God Almighty of the Bible, we also reject evolution because we know the theory that all living beings simply happened is mathematically impossible.
No Complex System of Such
Living Beings Can Evolve by Chance
In the real world of scientific observation, as opposed to metaphysical speculation, however, no more complex system can ever “evolve” out of a less complex system, so the probability of the naturalistic origin of even the simplest imaginary form of life is zero. The existence of complexity of any kind is evidence of God and creation. “Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: He calleth them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one faileth” (Isaiah 40:26). If living matter is not, then, caused by the interplay of atoms, natural forces and radiation, how has it come into being? …I think, however, that we must… admit that the only acceptable explanation is creation. I know that this is anathema to physicists, as indeed it is to me, but we must not reject a theory that we do not like if experimental evidence supports it. (“A Physicist Looks at Evolution.” Physics Bulletin, vol. 31 (May 1980). p. 138, Lipson, H. S. Extracted from “That Their Words May Be Used Against Them.” Compiled by Henry M. Morris, Institute for Creation Research, San Diego, CA, 1997)
According to the above, “the only acceptable explanation is creation.” Because of unbelief and hardness of the heart, an evolutionist must reject “the only acceptable explanation.” However, when we observe the universe and our beautiful earth, it bellows “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1 KJV). Further, H.S. Lipson uses the word anathema to explain the utter repulsiveness for a physicist to think of the acceptability of God creating the heavens, the earth and all living beings. Anathema is defined as a “solemn curse and something hated and despised.” Mankind may reject, hate and despise God Almighty, still we must speak truth and stand firm, “He that speaketh truth showeth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit” (Proverbs 12:17). “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God” (Psalm 14:1).
