Are You Sure No One Knows?

• Cain thought he had gotten away with murder, but God convicted him.
• Achan thought he had gotten away with theft, but God caught him.
• David thought he had gotten away with adultery, but God saw him.          
• Haman thought he had gotten away with genocide, but God stopped him.
• Jonah thought he could run and hide from God, but God appointed a fish to swallow him.
• Ananias and Sapphira thought they had gotten away with lying, but God heard them.

The Internet age has brought with it a lot of wonderful opportunities, and also it brings a lot of terrible ones. There are more and more ways to facilitate sin, as well as to cover it up. Lest we ever think that we can now do as we please with no consequences, remember that God knows and will hold us accountable (Ecclesiastes 12:14).
