        Question: Would you please furnish specific Bible texts for each of the other nine commandments? Answer: A few weeks ago in an article I mentioned that nine of the original Ten Commandments were mentioned in the New Testament, but the fourth commandment, “Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy,” was not in the New Testament. The reader evidently recognizes the absence of the sabbath commandment in the New Testament and wonders if any of the other nine are absent. The answer is, “No.” Here are nine of the Ten Commandments in the New Testament. These Old Testament laws brought into the New Testament are not all word for word, but the clear teaching of them is there. 1. No Other God: Exodus 20:3 1 Corinthians 8:4-6, “Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one. For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live” (NKJV). 2. No Graven Images: Exodus 20:4 1 Corinthians 10:14, “Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.” 3. Do Not Take Lord’s Name in Vain: Exodus 20:7 Matthew 6:9, “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.” Ephesians 4:29, “Let no corrupt word
